PGA Catalunya (Tour)

The Tour begins, like its famous sister the Stadium, with an elevated tee shot to a wider fairway but then rises to an elevated green that is long but narrow and shed balls from the front and gathers them in mini swales on the saucer green.

Highlights include two of the short holes. The 8th, a lovely par 3 with jigsaw-shaped bunkers that are a better spot to find rather than the steep slope at the front.

The uphill 11th is probably even better, with no housing and an Augusta-esque vibe to the variety of trees, the white-sand bunkers and the huge sprawling green.

It concludes with a hole alongside the swich Camiral hotel, an infantry of bunkers lining up down the left to help guide you down the open hole from the elevated tee to the elevated green.

It's a strong, good-looking finish to a fine 'second' course, whose merit is reflecting in its position in our Spanish ranking.
