There is also a Par-3 Academy Course that is part of the Lubker Golf Academy.

The Academy is one of the finest spots in Denmark to learn and practise the game of golf. From a stunning driving range fitted with the latest TrackMan technology, to the Par-3 Course and the short game area, there are the finest facilities available. Lessons and coaching are also on offer from a team of professionals.

Another team of professionals come into play at the Lubker Square Spa & Wellness. Lubker Overview | NCG Top 100 European Golf Resorts

Three Wonderful Loops

Like a number of other courses on the NCG Top 100 European Golf Resorts list, including Palmares and Vila Sol, Lubker is the home to 27 holes, set out in three stunning nine-hole loops.

These loops - the Sky Course, Sand Course and Forest Course - were designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. The three each have their own different challenges, but are all wonderfully maintained to an incredible standard year round. Each loop has been integrated into the natural environment, thanks to Jones’ stunning design.

Only 18 holes are in play each day, to allow the greenstaff to maintain the other nine-hole loop on the days where play is not happening. The Sky and Forest loops are played on Mondays and Thursdays, with the Sand and Forest loops being played on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Sand and Sky loops get the most love, with the two in play on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The Sky Course is the longest of the three loops and it is located amongst the forest. Meanwhile, the Sand Course plays in a more open landscape with the opportunity for good scoring. The Forest Course is the shortest of the three, but the holes wind through the glorious forests of the resort.

Lubker Golf Academy

The Lubker Golf Academy has recently been upgraded, with the practice area now featuring lighting on both the par-3 course and the driving range to allow golf to be played once the sun goes down.

The Lubker Academy Course is another 9-hole loop, like the three main courses at the resort. There is a mix of holes on the Academy Course, and it is the perfect place for novices to learn about the nuances of the game, from undulating greens to bunker play and more.

The driving range has covered hitting bays so players can practise in all conditions, while the club has invested in TrackMan technology to take the driving range to the next level. The technology provides golfers with spin rates, apex heights, curve and carry among plenty of other statistics so that they can hone their practice to improve their games.

The TrackMan technology also allows golfers to play a virtual round on a number of golf courses around the world, including the West Course at the Wentworth Club and Royal St George’s. Players can also play each loop of Lubker, to get a feel for the courses before going out and experiencing them for real.

Lessons are also available from the Golf Academy at Lubker. Morten Bartholin and his team of qualified professionals are on hand to offer coaching and tuition to all golfers. From those beginning in the sport to the experienced players aiming to fine tune their skills, a range of lessons are available.
