Welcome to Army Golf Club – the third oldest golf club in Hampshire and the 21st oldest golf club in the country. As our name suggests, our club has military origins although for many years we have had a mainly civilian membership. Today our club is enjoyed by members, visitors and societies from all walks of civilian and military life. When you visit Army Golf Club I can assure you of a warm and friendly welcome along with a challenging golf course that, we are regularly told, provides one of the best tests of golfing ability in the area. The course is situated on 160 acres of low, undulating woodland between Farnborough and Aldershot. It has a par of 71 and features three par three and two par five holes. The par threes, the shortest of which is 168 yards, are a particular challenge for most golfers. Measuring 6,550 yards from the white tees, our course is one of the longest golf courses in this area (see table) although the fairly level terrain means it remains a comfortable walk for most players.
