It’s been quite a wait but the White Hot is back and better than ever. Hannah Holden takes a closer look

Odyssey White Hot OG Putters

Odyssey White Hot putters are back for 2021 – and nothing’s really changed. Yes you read that right.

OK, so technically it is only the face insert that is the same and there is method behind the madness.

Many players on tour were still requesting putters with a White Hot insert in. So Odyssey thought it was time to give it a new lease of life – only this time combining it with some of their new technologies.

Odyssey White Hot putters: First impressions

Odyssey really have done a great job here of giving a classic a fresh makeover. Personally I love the touch of red from the updated stroke lab shaft as it really gives the whole look a modern twist.

There are six models available in this range. Two blades, the #1 and #1WS, and four mallets, the #5, #7, 2-Ball and Rossie.

Odyssey White Hot putters: The technology

These putters feature the same original White Hot formulation which is a two-part urethane insert – the same material used on the cover of your golf ball.

The finish is a new silver coating with fine milling on the surface.

They feature the brand new Candy Apple Red Stroke Lab shaft. But you can opt to have a Stepless steel shaft instead.

I have got a number 7 model to test out and I can’t wait to get out on the course with it, so keep your eyes out for that review coming soon.

In the meantime here’s the skinny…
