New Z355 and Z155 irons launched by Srixon
Srixon have moved more towards the game-improvement market with the Z355 and Z155 irons
Srixon have launched new Z155 and Z355 cavity-back irons which are aimed more at the game-improvement market by promoting maximum distance while maintaining forgiveness.
The Z 745 and Z 945 irons which were launched last year are aimed at tour and better players while the Z 545 now sit in the middle of the range.
The new irons feature Action Mass technology to maximise the golfer’s swing consistency.
Action Mass promotes distance by organically creating more club head speed through the downswing and more ball speed at impact thanks to greater kinetic energy.
This is achieved by strategically concentrating more weight in the club head and raising the balance point of the shaft.
The Z335 have a slightly thinner top-line than the Z155.
The Srixon Z355 and Z155 irons feature a mid-high launching cavity-back profile.
Thin, high-strength HT1770 steel face increases COR for higher ball speeds in 47 irons.
The iron bodies are 431 cast stainless steel for proven custom-fitting adjustability while a high MOI design aids forgiveness and stable ball flight.
To enhance turf interaction and trajectory control, the Srixon Z355 and Z155 irons feature the newly developed Tour V.T. Sole.
By increasing leading bounce and decreasing trailing bounce, a V is created in the sole profile that has been proven to help tighten shot dispersion.
The new Z 355 and Z 155 irons feature Action Mass in both graphite and steel shaft options, either Miyazaki Jinsoku graphite or the lightweight Nippon NS Pro 950GH DST.
The Z155 is also available in a ladies set.
