Today’s short is all about how to stop hooking your irons. Our pro, James Whitaker, talks us through the problem from Reunion Resort in Orlando…
Hooking your irons, what tends to happen here is pretty simple, your alignment get worse and worse.
Because your alignment gets poor you then start to flip the golf club which then shuts the club face down and the ball pops off to the left.
To fix this problem it’s really important that you use the alignment stick and make sure it is parallel to the target.
What I want you to feel here is that instead of the golf club flipping, I want you to feel like the butt of the club is being pulled to the left.
