All the gear: Rory goes to TaylorMade fairways for the Masters

Rory McIlroy is not afraid to make a big equipment change on the eve of a big tournament.
Think back to the 2014 Ryder Cup where he put the Nike Vapor Fly driver in play for the first time.
Since Nike pulled out of the hardware game Rory initially made the switch to TaylorMade woods before opting for the new Callaway Epic range.
Now it looks like he’ll head into the Masters with the Callaway GBB Epic Sub Zero driver in the bag but will use a TaylorMade M2 3-wood and 5-wood.
He’s actually plumped for the new M2 Tour models by the looks of things.
According to the Guardian’s Ewan Murray, McIlroy feels he can shape the M2 woods in way which is better suited to Augusta.
We still expect him to use the Callaway Apex MB prototype irons, Titleist Vokey SM6 wedges and Odyssey Tour prototype putter with microhinge insert and the Titleist ProV1x ball.

Paul Casey among Mizuno irons converts
We’ve seen a number of former Nike players opt for Mizuno irons in recent months.
Basically anyone who had a Nike hardware deal is free to use whatever equipment they like.
And Paul Casey clearly likes the Mizuno MP-25 irons while Ross Fisher will be using the JPX900 Tour irons this week.
Japanese star goes super-premium
Hideto Tanihara, at 38, is making just his second appearance at Augusta.
And for those people wondering, he uses the super-premium Honma Tour World TW737 irons.
Very popular among Japanese golfers (who can afford them).
