Today’s short is all about one of the most important parts of instruction..your alignment.
Setting up to the ball with an incorrect target line will simply result in your shot being off line. It sounds obvious but alignment is a big problem in amateur golf. (The Pro)
You’ve heard it all before but you’ve got to make sure that you practice properly so when you do get out onto the course your alignment is absolutely bang on.
Make Sure you have an alignment stick or a golf club on the floor.
But the most important aspect is making sure your feet, hips and shoulders are al parallel to the target on the floor.
At address setting up parallel with the target gives you a much better chance of hitting straighter shots and you’re going to be a lot more consistent when you practice the right things.
So remember;
- Practice with an alignment stick
- make sure your feet, hips and shoulders are parallel to target at all times
