The day at the Ryder Cup: Best rookie- Thomas Pieters. What a phenomenal debut from the young Belgian. Paired with Rory the first two days Pieters beat J.B Holmes in the singles to make it 4 out of 5 points, a record for a European rookie.
A close second for top rookie was Rafa Cabrera Bello who beat the PGA Champion Jimmy Walker 3&2. The Spaniard looked at home at this year’s Ryder Cup and we won’t be surprised to see him in Paris in two year’s time.

The day at the Ryder Cup: Worst player- Unfortunately that has to go to Danny Willett today. The Masters Champion played terribly against rookie Brooks Koepka and never even got close to a point.
His Ryder cup experience has been one to forget. Will we see him in Paris in a couple of years? If so lets hope he performs better than he has this week.
