PGA EuroPro Tour professional Stuart Archibald gives you some solid advice before you even get out on course and ready for golf.
Making sure you are physically ready for golf is vitally important – you don’t want to be aggravating an old injury or getting injured because you haven’t warmed up correctly.

Once you have ensured that you have warmed up correctly and made your way to the practice ground, Stuart’s theory is to not ‘practice’ but to warm-up prior to hitting the course.
This will enable you to work with how you are swinging that day – rather than trying to completely change how you are likely to play – this ensures that we are warmed up and ready for the round ahead. It’s likely too late to make major changes and see huge returns in your game.
Working out how you are playing with each club in hand is important, working through the key components of your bag will ensure that you nicely prepared for the rigours of the golf course.
Don’t try and reinvent the wheel before you play – and stay within your comfort zone and enjoy the coming round.
