Lyoness Open betting tips and Fantasy Golf picks
It was a thrilling start to June in the National Club Golfer Fantasy Golf Game with a Swedish double on the European and PGA Tours.
Not many players had Memorial Tournament winner David Lingmerth in their side but Alex Noren was a more popular choice as he claimed his second Nordea Masters title.
The top monthly team was minichidders13 who had Noren and compatriot Henrik Stenson in his side along with Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and Hideki Matsuyama to bring in an impressive 1886 points and set the pace for the June monthly prize.
In the overall game, Viking Valdemar shot to the top of the leaderboard thanks again the the services of Noren, Speith and Dustin Johnson.

Another player who did well last year is Lee Slattery.
The Englishman was also in the top 10 at last week’s Nordea Masters so could be on the verge of a second European Tour victory. Odds of 55/1 look quite tempting.

All three have been in decent form recently which is the reason behind the relatively short odds and it is by no means a “stellar” field with many top players focussing on next week’s US Open.
Looking a bit further down the list, Nicolas Colsaerts is a name which jumps out. He has been showing signs of a return to form and is a multiple European Tour winner.
He managed a top-10 at last week’s Nordea Masters so could be a decent Fantasy Golf pick and is a 22/1 shout with the bookies.
England’s Matt Fitzpatrick has been competitive in recent weeks and I have the feeling a European Tour win might not be that far away for the Sheffield lad.
The bookies are not so sure which is why odds of 60/1 look reasonably appealing to me.
Fellow Englishman Tom Murray bagged himself a top-10 in Sweden last week and is a huge outsider at 225/1.
