It was a thrilling start to June in the National Club Golfer Fantasy Golf Game with a Swedish double on the European and PGA Tours.
Not many players had Memorial Tournament winner David Lingmerth in their side but Alex Noren was a more popular choice as he claimed his second Nordea Masters title.
The top monthly team was minichidders13 who had Noren and compatriot Henrik Stenson in his side along with Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and Hideki Matsuyama to bring in an impressive 1886 points and set the pace for the June monthly prize.
In the overall game, Viking Valdemar shot to the top of the leaderboard thanks again the the services of Noren, Speith and Dustin Johnson.
That brings us nicely on to the PGA Tour’s FedEx St Jude Classic where Johnson is the bookies favourite after a pretty successful return following an eight month break.
The big-hitting American already has one win this season and seems to be in the mix most weeks despite having the odd horror score which put the skids on his challenge.

Phil Mickelson is also in the field and is a player bookies are clearly quite scared despite not recording a PGA Tour win since 2013.
The odds are pretty short but “lefty” will be looking to find some momentum as he goes in search of that elusive US Open title the following week.
Mickelson finished in the top 10 in this event last year so has some course form.
When looking for a bit of value, look no further than Matt Every who was in a tie for third at last year’s event and has a win to his name in 2015.
He can be found at odds of 80/1 with some bookmakers.

Sweden’s Carl Petterson was also in a tie for third last year and can be backed at odds of around 90/1 this time around.
The other player in third place last year was former US Open champion Webb Simpson who is quite fancied this year with short odds of 18/1.
Billy Horschel is another player bookies seem slightly wary of, perhaps due to his streaky nature. Last year’s FedEx Cup winner was also in the top 10 last year which is another reason his odds are around the 16-18/1 mark.

Brooks Koepka was another in the top 20 last year but since then he has gone from strength the strength racking up wins on both the PGA and European Tour. Keep an eye on him at odds of around 22/1.
Scotland’s Russell Knox has become a very consistent performer on the PGA Tour so could be well worth an each-way bet at odds of around 60/1.
