Blog: Take advantage of a Trial Titleist event near you

James Savage from NCG talks about his experience using Titleist clubs and encourages readers to Trial Titleist for themselves.

My first real experience of Titleist golf clubs came at the launch of the 915 metals range at The Belfry in September last year.

Being a relatively high handicapper playing off 23 many people thought I would struggle to get fitted into clubs that would suit my ability level.

I actually got on pretty well from the outset with the 915 D2 driver and 915 hybrid and both clubs went straight into my bag following the event.

Since then my golf has improved with the help of lessons from Scott Oxley at J Whitaker Golf, Moor Allerton, Leeds but the clubs have helped me out too.

I’ve found the 915 range in particular to be very forgiving and have heard from others who had experience of some of the earlier models that this range could be the most forgiving range from Titleist to date.
Over 350 Trial events are taking place running through to the end of June" I’m now also using Titleist 714 AP1 irons as, like the woods, I feel they offer me a decent amount of forgiveness but still look great.

So as Titleist are giving golfers the chance to trial their gear at a number of trial events to be held at venues across the UK, I would definitely recommend having a look if you are in the market for some new clubs.

Over 350 Trial events are taking place running through to the end of June.

At each Trial event, golfers can experience the recently launched 915 line of drivers, fairways and hybrids.

In the family of 714 irons, golfers can trial the flight, feel and forgiveness of the AP1 and AP2 along with the shot control and workability of the CB and MB.

In addition, golfers will also be able to experience the short game performance of Vokey Design SM5 wedges.

To locate your nearest event, visit the Trial Titleist pages on www.Titleist.co.uk and sign up to Team Titleist for exclusive content and competitions throughout the year.

Golfers are also encouraged to share their #TrialTitleist experiences across Facebook (Titleist UK & Ireland) and Twitter (@TitleistEurope).
