With his win in Morocco, Richie Ramsay earned 250,000 points towards the Race to Dubai and will move into the top 80 in the Official Golf World Rankings.
This was a miraculous return to form for the Scotsman, who had already missed the cut in four of his five starts this season, and now sees him move up the world rankings and gains valuable points in the Race to Dubai standings.
Ramsay had to rely on his trusty 7-iron on the final hole, with Frenchman Romain Wattel threatening to attack his slender one shot advantage.
“To execute the 7 iron on the last was one of the best shots I’ve ever hit, from visualisation to execution.
“It was just perfect.”
