Having never really experimented with training aids, I was interested to see what the the Game-inglove product had to offer and if it could help improve my game.
This training aid aims to eliminate the mistakes that destroy 99% of faults in the golf swing and claims to literally out the entire golf swing in the palm of your hand.
The concept is based around three features which ultimately are there to improve your swing path.
While currently undergoing lessons at the moment, I’m all too aware of how vital swing path is and how crucial it is to get it right.
Having previously suffered from a slice, I have been able to correct this by getting a more inside swing path and not coming over the top.
The Game-inglove training aid can help with this and while I wouldn’t advocate substituting lessons with a PGA pro for any device – this product does have its merits.
The glove itself is well-made and includes an a shaft palm line to help grip the club correctly.
It also features a ˜Realizer Clubface’ on the back of the club to ensure the actual club face is square to the target line at impact.
Thirdly, there is a laser device of the back of glove which can show your swing path.
The glove comes with an instructional DVD and a laser path mat. There are also details instructions to identify to correct and incorrect swing-path patterns.
I tested the laser indoors in a fairly bright room which resulted in the laser being quite feint and not easy to identify.
For entry-level golfers, this training aid could help to eliminate some key faults with the takeaway and swing path" I’m not sure it would work well at all outside but indoors with dim lighting it is easy to see the laser clearly.
The product is in its infancy and a number of technical tweaks have been made from the product that I tested but the concept remains sound.
For entry-level golfers, this training aid could help to eliminate some key faults with the takeaway and swing path.
Game-inglove can be pre-ordered from www.game-inglove.com at a retail price of $79.99.
