SkyCaddie launch new Aire II GPS handheld

Significant upgrade to SkyCaddie’s entry-level no-fees GPS distance measuring device for golfers

5 SkyCaddie have launched the Aire II GPS handheld device which includes graphic upgrades and additional features to its predecessor.

The ready-to-play Aire II now shows dynamic distances which reflect the angle of approach, while offering pre-loaded Front-Centre-Back green distance information for 35,000 exclusive SkyCaddie worldwide golf course maps.

Large, easy-to-read numbers fill the brightly-lit 1.8” sunlight-readable greyscale display, and intelligent automation means that Aire II recognises the course and hole you are playing without any button-pressing.

Aire II adds upgradeability for the first time with access to SkyCaddie’s revolutionary IntelliGreen feature, which provides actual green shape from your angle of approach, plus adjustable pin targeting giving precise distances to the hole.
The Aire II contains all we know about golf course distance measurement in a tiny, ultra-light package” The upgrade to SkyCaddie membership also gives Aire II customers the ability to download the latest ground-mapped golf course amendments at any time, rather than waiting for the quarterly updates.

The upgrade also unlocks SkyCaddie’s full TrueGround Target List for each course, with up to 40 hazards, carries and suggested layup points per hole. Membership also enables golfers to join the SkyGolf 360 online community.

“The Aire II contains all we know about golf course distance measurement in a tiny, ultra-light package,” said Jacqui Surman, SkyCaddie VP of international sales & marketing.

The water-resistant Aire II can be clipped to a belt or a golf trolley, or can hang from your golf bag. Its rechargeable lithium battery powers the device for up to 10 hours between charges.
