Golf tips: Where to place the ball on the tee box

Foremost Golf pro Carole Pope demonstrates how placing the ball in the right place on the teeing ground can result in better tee shots.

For an easier golf shot from the tee, position the ball in the tee box where you aren’t going to be hitting trouble.

If the left side of the fairway has a few bunkers, an easier shot would be teeing the ball on the right of the tee box. This will make the hazards less of a danger to your drives.

Doing this could result in a much easier second shot, saving yourself several shots per round.
