Golf equipment: Sneak peek at the new Nike driver

5 Nike have leaked photographs of a new driver on their Facebook page.

The images reveal what is most likely a successor to the brand’s popular VR_S Covert, which is used on Tour by both Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

Not much can be taken from the pictures, though it is clear that again the crowns will be metallic red and two versions will be available – one with a standard silver face and another with a deeper, black face aimed at better players.

The driver is again adjustable and many tip it to be called the VR_S Covert 2.0.
