FIRST LOOK: Litepower Lithium battery
There is nothing worse than having to change batteries over at lunch time. With this battery, you don’t need to! Early 36 hole batteries were huge and you needed to be built like a Russian weightlifter to carry them. This, though, is compact and you can comfortably carry it with two fingers.
It will fit most trollies, but the connecting cable doesn’t come with it as standard. It sounds pricey, but it lasts five times longer than the equivalent lead acid battery, and has a five-year warranty.
SRP: £249
