Callaway have sent us exclusive shots of their new prototype long iron.
The Utility XT is being tested on tour at the Memorial this week by the likes of Phil Mickelson (at least before he withdrew, citing mental fatigue!) and is supposed to behave like a hybrid (high launching and forgiving) while keeping the looks and feel of a forged iron.
It was designed with this year’s tight US Open layout in mind by revered club-maker Roger Cleveland.
