Titleist refine better player iron duo
Players' irons specialists Titleist have updated their famous CB and MB irons for the new season...
Titleist’s MB and CB irons are aimed at the very best players and the latest versions show subtle rather than radical updates and improvements.
The most eye-catching is a gorgeous new satin finish, replacing the previous shiny chrome.
The changes were described as a “reinterpretation not a complete reinvention” by Steve Pelisek, Titleist’s general manager.
The sole line of the MBs, the out-and-out blades, has been narrowed, to help those who pick the ball up cleanly off the top of the turf.
On the CBs, which are shallow cavity backs, it is slightly wider to help those who take bigger divots.
