Sunwiser started as a small cottage industry . Working from home, the first prestigious client was Sunseeker Powerboats. Having grown and taken up half the house with materials, sewing machines etc, a workshop was needed.
The move to Parkstone Dairies, a group of craft workshops in Dorset, happened in 1997.
This has grown now to 2 units and 6 sewing machines, some work is still being completed by outworkers and factory production when required.
All the samples, design and creation is still conceived by Pauline with much time devoted to seeking out suitable fabrics, colourways and materials. Sunwiser now has agents working in France, Spain, Cyprus, Canaries and Southern Ireland.
The ladies Wax Hats are made from a quality lightweight wax fabric, They come in a variety of colours, Black, Navy, Olive and Brown, with a variety of contrasting under brims in fleece, tweed, faux fur, animal print and corduroy. Sizes are small, medium, large and extra large.

It has an elasticated back, which fits any size head but can be made either smaller or larger to suit. Colours are endless and can be customised to match outfits. the Sunwiser Beach Dress/Sarong is the perfect chic cover up, to take you from beach to the restaurant. Stunning unique design and fabrics with matching visor, come in standard sizes, but can be made small or large.
Simply slot ties through covered buckle and fasten at the back, for the dress. Dress converts into a sarong, by tying at the side or front as desired. The visor can be made in a fabric to match or complement, all sets being made exclusively in the UK.
