Back to basics

Whenever I feel my putting stroke has changed, I like to use this tip to get back to basics. For right-handers, feel is in the right hand and accuracy in the left. So if I am struggling a little with either of these basics, I’ll get on the putting green and hit half-a-dozen or so putts one-handed.

Aim for left, pace for right

If my aim is off, it’s left-handed, if my pace is off it’s the right. It’s really simple, but very effective. Hit five with the left, then five with the right, then putt with both and hopefully you’ll find it all comes together.
