Mix up your lies up

Make the most of your practice time

Perfect the downhill lie

Playing off a downhill lie is certainly harder than an uphill one as the club loses the loft at address and, from even a slightly downhill lie, you will need less club. A great way to practise this at the driving range is to play the shot with your left foot off the mat to encourage the awkward stance. The tendency is to fat this shot but with slightly more weight on your left side and the ball back in your stance you will soon be striking your irons with confidence.
