Make your grip effective

Make the pressure points work for you

Pointing forward

The function of the grip is to push the clubhead so we are trying to make sure that our strength is lined up behind the grip. By having that at the back of the shaft you are able to impart the force to compress the ball and push the clubhead forward.

Stroke index

The pressure point is the first cushioned part on the index finger. The whole grip is all about this pressure point and this is basically the strength.

Weak = no power

We are not working on the image of the grip, we are working on the function. It is a feeling rather than what it looks like. If it isn’t lined up then your grip is effectively weak. If you are throwing a golf ball with force have a look at where the pressure point is, this is where the strength lies.
