WITB: Adam Hadwin – Valspar Championship
Adam Hadwin started his week being presented with a gold-plated replica of the Odyssey Tank Cruiser V-Line putter that he used to become the eighth player to shoot 59 on the PGA Tour.
Sadly he didn’t put it in play, and instead ended the week tapping in for par with his regular V-Line to win his maiden title and with it a spot at the Masters.
In between, he holed a 60-footer for birdie at the par-3 13th with the putter he has used since 2014. The Canadian was 1.720 in strokes gained/putting for the week.
Hadwin, who uses Callaway equipment right through the bag, uses the company’s GBB Epic metalwoods after a successful off-season of testing. He prefers the neutral weight setup toward the middle of the club head.
