One of the most basic portions of your game need attention?
The young upstart of the European Tour shows us how to get that perfect set-up for a 20 yard chip shot.
Basic bunker set-up with Tyrrell Hatton
Hatton explains his choice of club for chip shots within this range.
Many amateurs will attack the pin and try and drop it within a short range of the flag.
Hatton explain that all we need is a nice low trajectory is needed to give your chips the run they need to get up to that pin and help you get down for par.
Ball position
The ball should be more toward the back of your stance.
Stance
Distribute more weight towards the front of your stance (left for right-handed, right for left-handed players) to ensure you keep the club nice and low in your follow through.
