You’ve probably all noticed the huge trucks which turn up at professional golf tournaments?
But what actually goes on behind the scenes inside the trucks leading up to Major championships?
Well, during the 144th Open Championship at St Andrews, we caught up with Aaron Dill who is the top man when it comes to Titleist Vokey Wedges on the PGA Tour.
Aaron works very closely with the likes of Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott, Zach Johnson, Jimmy Walker and more to make sure they have the right wedge set-up going into a particular tournament.
As Aaron explains in the video, some players like to tinker a lot with different lofts, grinds and finishes.
It’s Aaron and the Vokey team’s job to make sure the players are 100 per cent happy before they go out onto the course.
Some venues, like St Andrews will have different conditions to what they players are used to on the PGA Tour.
Different grass, turf and bunkers may mean some players opt for a little bit more or less bounce on their wedges.
