Test your swing in the American Golf longest drive contest
American Golf are offering an all-expenses paid trip to America for participation in their nation-wide longest drive contest.
104 stores across the UK are participating in the competition over the May bank holiday weekend (23rd -25th May), providing state-of-the-art launch monitors to find the longest drivers in the country.
Participants will get three attempts to hit the ball as far as possible. There will be products available to borrow in-store, or you can bring your own club.
There are three categories: Open (<45), Senior (45+) and Ladies. A Garmin fitness watch will be on offer for the winner at each store, with the best three regional drivers in each category invited to the grand final in autumn.

The finalists will then battle it out for the chance to take part in the World Long Drive Championship 2016 in America.
“People who are successful on the long drive scene aren’t always from golfing backgrounds, so golfers should grab their friends, come in store and have a go,” said head of marketing at American Golf, Daniel Gathercole.
