We are asking golfers who they will vote for in the 2015 General Election

It’s almost time to make a very important decision. No, we are not talking about who you should transfer in to your Fantasy Golf team, it’s time for you to say who you would like to run the country.

So how will most golfers vote?

There are some stereotypes about golfers which may lead people to believe they will cast their votes in a particular direction.

A large percentage of golfers in the UK are male, aged between 45 and 60.

A recent survey by England Golf revealed that adult males accounted for 77 per cent of golf club memberships with adult females accounting for 15 per cent.
We have set up a completely anonymous and simple survey which asks golfers how they plan to vote” Each golf club surveyed had an average of 499 members. The results revealed clubs had on average 148 members aged over 65, 109 aged 55-64, 85 aged 45-54 and 19 aged 35-54.

So we feel we are well placed to canvass opinion among golfers about where they are thinking of voting in May’s General Election.
