Callaway staffer Kiradech Aphibarnrat took his second European Tour win after claiming a playoff victory over Li Hao-Tong.

Aphibarnrat, whose only other European Tour victory had come at the 2013 Maybank Malaysian Open, played his final approach to the middle of the green while his opponent Li left himself a much longer putt.

He promptly sank his putt for birdie, taking the inaugural Shenzhen International title.

The 25-year-old said of his victory: “I had a chance to win in 72 holes but the putt in the play-off is the best putt I have ever made in my life.”
