Furyk recorded his first win in almost 5 years at the Harbour Town Links

Jim Furyk had an agonising wait for his first professional win in nearly five years, finally breaking his hoodoo at the RBC Heritage, sparking wild celebrations from the 44-year old.

With this win he moves back into the Top Five in the World Rankings, yet surprisingly Furyk has maintained a Top Ten presence despite being without a win in four and half years.

According to the former US Open winner, this win ended “four years of frustration” after fending off the challenge of relative unknown Kevin Kisner in a tense playoff finish.
