20-year-old Oliver Floyd dies when vehicle enters water hazard.
A 20-year-old working at Celtic Manor Resort has been killed on the former Ryder Cup course.
Oliver Floyd, from Ross-on-Wye died when the agricultural spraying vehicle he was in went into a lake on the Twenty Ten Course.
Although Floyd was taken to a Newport hospital in a critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries.
A statement released by his family read: “A big thank you to the ground staff at the Celtic Manor Resort and the overwhelming support from friends.”

A spokesman said: “It is with great regret that we can confirm one of our operatives, Ollie Flloyd, died at the Celtic Manor resort following an incident which saw a spraying vehicle roll into a lake on the Twenty Ten Course.”
A 46-year-old man who was also in the vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Gwent Police and Newport City Council’s health and safety team are carrying out enquiries into the incident.
