Two of golf’s leading brands – Titleist and FootJoy – have agreed a four-year deal to be the new sponsors of the flagship PGA Professional Championship.
The agreement will also include sponsorship of the 36-hole Women’s PGA Professional Championship, which will be held on June 4th and 5th.
This year’s championship will held over the weekend of June 2nd-5th at the links course of Burnham & Berrow, Somerset.
PGA chief executive Sandy Jones said: “The PGA has had an excellent and productive relationship with both Titleist and FootJoy, which has also been extremely beneficial for PGA Members.
“This agreement cements the partnerships in place and I am sure this year’s competitors will also be delighted to see two strong brands supporting the championship.”
Six places for the GB&I PGA Cup will be up for grabs after the conclusion of the event, with the PGA Professional Championship playing a decisive role in the team selection.
