We’d rather be playing… Golf Costa Adeje, Tenerife
Golf Costa Adeje is one of the most impressive courses on the island and played host to the Ladies’ European Tour in 2014.
The sloping fairways of the par-72 run over the terraces of what once were banana plantations and down to the ocean in this upmarket resort. Original wall stones have been totally restored to make this a truly picturesque spot while there is an elevator to a two-tiered driving range. The resort also boasts a nine-hole course, Los Lagos, where water is prominent.
The hotel
Adjacent to the course is the Hotel Suite Villa Maria which was designed with a distinctive Canarian architectural style. This stylish 5-star hotel is surrounded by gardens and has a relaxed feel along with 78 exclusive villas, all with modern amenities.
There are two swimming pools on different levels (one heated) as well as a children’s pool and, if you haven’t had enough golf, you can also enjoy some mini-golf.
The villas offer spectacular views of the sea, golf and the surrounding mountains of Adeje.
