Nike Golf have announced the signing of Romain Wattel, with the Frenchman set to making his debut for the manufacturer at this weeks Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships, which began yesterday.
Wattel enjoyed an impressive 2014 season, finishing in 28th-place in the Race to Dubai, a career best for the 24-year-old.
He recorded eight top-10 finishes during the campaign, including a T3 placing at the prestigious Dubai Desert Classic and a T6 at the BMW Masters, the opening event of the Final Series.

As a 19-year-old, Wattel rose to prominence, becaming only the fifth amateur to win on the Challenge Tour by sealing victory at the 2010 ALLIANZ European Strasbourg-Golf de la Wantzenau by three shots.
Before turning pro, Wattel helped France to win the 2010 Eisenhower Trophy team event in Buenos Aries, and won his place on the European Tour by finishing ninth at the 2010 Qualifying School.

Wattel will be playing with the new Vapor Speed driver, as well as the Vapor Pro and Pro Combo irons, and the RZN Black golf ball this week, and the new Vapor range of woods and irons is available in Europe from Jan 31st 2015.
