Callaway add new XR and XR Pro hybrids for 2015

New XR hybrids are easier to hit and seriously long

Callaway have introduced new XR and XR Pro hybrids to their 2015 range which have a completely redesigned face cup for more speed and distance.

The company adopted a new approach to make a hybrid that’s easier to hit and goes further.

From the ground up, Callaway developed a completely new Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup to increase ball speed for much greater distance and forgiveness.

They have also put in more MOI and lowered the CG by redesigning the head shape and improving the Internal Standing Wave.

The XR pro features a smaller head shape, aimed at the better player, and lower loft options.

Features & Benefits

  • Increased ball speed for greater distance

The Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup increases ball speed all across the face so you get distance and forgiveness at every impact location, even on off-centre hits.

  • Higher MOI and lower CG

The redesigned head shape has repositioned the weight. This creates even more forgiveness and a CG that’s 46 per cent lower than X2 Hot.

  • More MOI and ball speed

The re-engineered Internal Standing Wave provides a refined way to increase MOI and still give the face cup the freedom to flex for more ball speed.
