The 19th Hole: Number 8, The BridgeJanuary 12, 2015 News & Tour

The Bridge is an unorthodox golf club, and not just in its cool-kid looks. Described by the New York Times as “the un-tucked country club” there is no buttoned-up membership committee judging your moral fibre. Membership depends on two things; whether the owner thinks you are a “good guy” and whether you can afford the $750,000 membership fee.
The clubhouse is just as maverick. The low-lying Jetson-esque structure is environmentally responsible with a dramatic roof structure that echoes both turbine rotor blades and the dynamic movement of a golf swing but which also allows for the collection of rain water. The structure houses an art gallery and has incredible views over Long Island Sound through floor to ceiling windows. There is no dress code.
