Powakaddy 2014 winter wheels for your golf trolley

Prevent clogging and protect the course with winter wheels for your golf trolley

PowaKaddy is helping golfers prepare for the off-season weather conditions with its 2014 Winter Wheels, which are endorsed by The British and International Golf Greenkeepers’ Association (BIGGA).

PowaKaddy’s Winter Wheels feature patented technology, which make them suitable for use with most of the brand’s electric trolleys released in recent years.

Designed specifically for use in soft, wet underfoot conditions, they ensure minimal ground contact, which protects the golf course against unnecessary damage.

They have been developed in association with both Greenkeepers and course managers in order to avoid issues such as tyre marks, which summer wheels can cause.

The open tread design also helps to prevent the clogging of debris, allowing you to maintain an orderly car boot more easily.

PowaKaddy’s Winter Wheels are suitable for use with the following electric trolley models: FW3, FW5, FW7, SPORT, Freeway Digital, TOUCH, Freeway (Post 2000), Freeway II, Classic, Legend, RoboKaddy and Highway
When golf courses get wet, as they inevitably do for most of us in the off-season, our Winter Wheels are the perfect solution “With the conditions that golfers can expect to face in the winter, it is important for them to equip their electric trolleys properly,” said PowaKaddy Chairman John deGraft-Johnson.

“When golf courses get wet, as they inevitably do for most of us in the off-season, our Winter Wheels are the perfect solution.

“They protect the golf course from unwanted tyre marks and have been specifically created by our design team, in conjunction with agronomy experts, for winter weather.

“Just as importantly, their design helps to prevent carrying grass, leaves and other debris from the golf course into your car or the clubhouse.”
