Golf tips: Stop trying to play like the tour pros

Jon Finn, Pre-Shot inventor and psychologist to the PGA, explains how we can get the most out of our game by playing to our strengths and not going for impossible shots

Two mental factors that can lead to dropping shots on the golf course are overestimating your own ability and the ironic thinking process.

The ironic thinking process is when you think to yourself that you are going to avoid the bunker before the green and then actually hitting the ball to that spot, therefore making it ironic.
