Callaway launch Mack Daddy 2 wedges
READ OUR EXCLUSIVE REVIEW HERE
Callaway have launched a new line of wedges designed by Roger Cleveland and based heavily on Tour player feedback.
The Mack Daddy 2 wedges combine a classic shape with an aggressive groove pattern and surface roughness designed to maximise spin.
The 5V pattern used in the MD2s is said to provide 39 per cent more groove volume and create up to 25 per cent more spin than any previous Callaway wedge.
Forged from fine carbon steel, the MD2 also provides stunning feel and feedback.
The Callaway Mack Daddy 2 comes in eight loft options and with three different grinds – S (standard), C (relief from the heel and toe to make it easy to open up) and U (inspired by Phil Mickelson and increases dynamic bounce without increasing static bounce, thus improving versatility).
You can choose from two classy finishes – chrome and slate.
Expect it in shops from July 15th.
