FIRST LOOK: Nike VR_S Covert Irons
The proprietary technology behind these irons includes a High Speed Cavity Back (also featured in the Covert driver) and a NexCOR face. The former allows more distance and control, moving the weight to the corners and raising the Moment of Inertia.
The latter creates more speed at impact by employing variable face thickness that focuses on increasing the sweet spot in the face’s centre as well as to the lower portion and towards the toe where lots of golfers often make impact.
