Ping unveil G25 range of woods and irons
Ping’s new G25 range is the most stylish and forgiving the company have ever brought to market.
Although the most striking aspect of it is the adjustable driver, the first Ping have offered at this price point, perhaps even more significant is the G25 iron, which combines legendary forgiveness levels with a look, finish and head profile that will doubtless win the brand many new admirers. With previous G-series irons there has been little about about the effectiveness but some have been put off by the chunky heads – not any more.
It is the same story in the hybrid, which conforms to what most golfers look for in that club – replacing a shape that was undoubtedly effective but also unattractive.
“The entire line appeals to players of every ability level." – John Solheim, Ping chairman and CEO
“We’re helping golfers play better through some exciting innovations,” said John Solheim, Ping chairman and CEO. “The entire line appeals to players of every ability level.
“The G25 driver offers meaningful adjustability to help all golfers optimize their trajectories without sacrificing the performance that’s often lost in bulkier hosel designs. The entire G25 series represents our continued commitment to engineering products that lead to lower scores and more enjoyment.”
Ping pros Bubba Watson and Hunter Mahan have already switched to the new G25 driver.
