Garmin have added a new device to their famous Approach golf GPS family.
The G6 is a sleek, slim device that is preloaded with over 25,000 courses – so is ready to play out of the box with no subscriptions – and weighs just 85 grammes.
Garmin claim the G6 is the ideal way to improve your handicap as it allows you to improve your course management, dial in your approaches and even measure your shots.
It is home to an impressive touch screen that is usable even when wearing gloves as well as a rechargeable battery that allows you to play a full weekend on one charge.
“With its new features, the Approach G6 becomes the must-have tool for every ambitious golfer,” said Garmin’s Martin Resch.
“Golfers around the world now have access to worldwide courses without hidden fees or subscriptions, great new scoring features and also a lightweight and stylish touchscreen product to add to their bag. The Approach G6 was designed to take golfers’ games to the next level and make them feel at home on whatever course they play.”
Other features include free course updates, moveable flags for precise distances, and a high contrast display that makes it readable in all light conditions.
